What the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) Missed

The SPLC is an American nonprofit that exposes “Hate Groups.” It also creates a map of where the Hate groups are. This year SPLC exposed 18 Anti-Gay Groups and Their Propaganda. We really appreciate the SPLC and the fact that they included groups such as the National Organization for Marriage (NOM).

We appreciate the fact that “Hate” is an ugly word that represents something really horrible; extreme prejudice. It is also understandable that such people and or groups
that are prejudice do not self identify as bigots, because they are in denial. All of humanity at different points have been exposed to this wrong thinking that group A is superior to group B. In truth there is no such thing as superior people.They can learn to appreciate the equality of all people.

Friedrich Nietzsche was wrong in his statement; “All credibility, all good conscience, all evidence of truth come only from the senses. “ There are times when truth
requires analysis to be discovered and this goes beyond the senses.

Language, particularly slang, is often used to dehumanize members of certain
groups of people, and the dehumanization is a precursor of
discrimination, isolation, and violence. Which group has accomplished
this misuse of language the most to cause harm? It has always been
throughout time that governments have legalized prejudice or in other
words “Hate.” It is the laws themselves that are by their nature
a form of discrimination.

Throughout the earliest part of the European begun U.S.A. history has been or
some cases still are the legalized discrimination such as:

Whiteness (considered better than those that were not of this color)
1850-1890s Native American massacres – Sand Creek, Bear River, Grattan, and
Massacre Rocks Incident.
Miscegenation – illegal to marry outside your ethnic group.
Slavery – humans owning other humans.
Japanese American Internment (no German Americans were interned and the
U.S.A. was in war with both countries at the time).
The Cold War persecution of gays (The Lavender scare), many laws
associated with this.
Defense of Marriage Act – The dehumanizing and devaluing of same-gender
committed, non related, loving adults in a monogamous relationship.
NOTE: Some States have similar laws that are just as discriminatory.
Even those same-gender couples that are legally married are denied
1,138 benefits that opposite-gender married couples are given by the
government. Including not recognizing bi-national marriages. Thus
separating families.
Don't Ask Don't Tell Don't Pursue (DADT) – The ability to fire employees
that are Service Members of the USA military just because they are
perceived as gay.
In many States it is still legal to fire people for being Lesbian Gay
Bisexual Transgender (LGBT) people. Even if DADT was removed it
would still be legal for the military to fire Transgender people.

Since U.S.A. Federal and State governments still discriminate against the
LGBT people in severe and demeaning ways treating us as inferior it
is obvious that the government has and continues to be committed to
discrimination.

Even today during a national holiday Thanksgiving the government has already proceeded to appeal a recent win in Federal
court against the DADT case that would require a reinstatement of
Maj. Witt.

Appeals against Discriminatory laws are acts of Hate

Please tell all government officials at all levels that you do not want your
tax dollars to fund the persecution of any group including the LGBT
community.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) uses propaganda to justify these Appeals

Please tell them to STOP the DOJ appeals that support discrimination of DADT and DOMA.
