Military Acceptance Project (MAP) TELLS Post DADT Repeal

http://militaryacceptanceproject.org (MAP) in this video educates the public about LGBT service members after repeal of Don't Ask Don't Tell Don't Pursue (DADT). MAP Executive Director Kristen Kavanaugh is a USMC veteran and graduate of the USN Naval Academy in Annapolis Maryland. She left military service of her own ac cord because of DADT's existence. She is presently pursuing a Masters degree in Sociology.

She and a present USMC service member Captain Mathew Phelps TELL their stories and the story of being LGBT before and after DADT. The service member's discussion is based on his own opinion and it is not intended to reflect the views of his employer the USMC.

This educational event took place at the San Diego State University hosted by Aaron Bruce the director of diversity at San Diego State University. This is the first in a series of LGBT diversity events that will be held at SDSU intended to inspire equality positive future leaders.

This is a DOD FED GLOBE production intended to be utilized for de-sensitivity training about LGBT Department of Defense employees past and present and military, civil service, and aligned corporations. It will also be distributed on at minimum www.dodfedglobe.ning.com and www.thatssogaylive.com.
