Prop 8 9th Fed Circuit Court Day of Decision Feb 7 2012

Prop 8 generated a rallying song across the whole nation. As the civil rights of LGBT Californian’s were not only attacked but removed a wakeup call was received. Keep listening and carry on the confrontation. Onward to the Supreme Court please rally there often not only to win Prop 8, but to achieve the overturning of all inequalities that this community endures!

The San Diego Alliance for Marriage (SAME) www.samealliance.com organized the event to rally locally LGBT and allies for the Prop 8 9th Federal Circuit Court of Appeals decision. Other groups such as Canvass for a Cause and DOD FED GLOBE participated in this event set up by SAME.

Prop 8 was found unconstitutional. The Judge was not considered biased and it is anticipated that the case will go to the Supreme Court of the USA.

It is important that all LGBT and allies be visible about your support for equality. That the Equality activists on the east coast begin rallies in front of the Supreme Court about the Prop 8 decision once it is passed there. This is not the kind of thing that can be bought it takes boots on the ground and voice behind many bull horns.

Related issues is the San Diego Equality 9 prosecution, the FAIR act in California, and the lack of Transgender open service, the need for DOMA repeal, and we need ENDA now!!!
