Telling the Truth Inside The Federal Government - Lisa Kove

In this video Executive Director of the LGBT 501C3 nonprofit DOD FED GLOBE Lisa Kove is speaking at an event within the Federal government at the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Here she does the most radical thing she tells the truth about inequality to an audience of Federal employees. This truth includes via analogies the fact that unfair laws really are not laws and must be stood up to. Not just by the oppressed targeted group, but by allies within the greater society.

We need all the DADT related less than honorable discharges to be automatically converted into honorable and for Transgender service members to be allowed to serve openly.

Do not buy the lies that each less than honorable DADT related discharge requires independent action. The Dept of Defense and the Department of Veterans Affairs must undertake this task and fix all. Presently the Federal government refuses to take the appropriate action to fix their many mistakes related to the LGBT inequality it has committed in the past and present. Less than honorable discharges prevents those Veterans from receiving services from the VA and impacts their ability to get employment. The policy in the Dept of Defense pertaining to Transgender Service members still places them in a DADT environment even once DADT is repealed.

Dare to Be Bold by having the ovaries it takes to always TELL the truth about inequality on the job as well as everywhere else. Anyone can stand up to the LGBTphobia in the gayborhood, but that is not what enlightens society on supporting and pushing for EQUALITY. Go forth and light up the world with equality for all.
